CELERIS AWARDED PRIME SBIR CONTRACT FOR TEMP AUTOMATION
ANAHEIM, CA., May 2, 2023 - Celeris has been awarded a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I Prime contract to enhance its highly acclaimed digital engineering platform, "iRIS," through automation of the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) development. Since 2011, the Global Positioning Systems program has been leveraging the efficiency of iRIS to manage the testing and verification of requirements for its enterprise programs. With its seamless integration to other digital engineering tools for requirements and architecture data, and its approval to run in the Air Force's Cloud One, iRIS is well-positioned to digitize the required content for a TEMP. This will enable acceleration of reviews and approvals throughout the agile development lifecycle, leading to new capabilities for the warfighter.
During the Phase I performance period, Celeris Systems will conduct a comprehensive feasibility study to develop an automation module for the TEMP within iRIS. The ultimate goal of this development is to significantly reduce development and approval timelines by over 50% for the Department of the Air Force (DAF).
In parallel, Celeris will also engage with a broad network of potential DAF end-users and customers to discuss the anticipated benefits of iRIS, gather specific end-user performance requirements, and chart a clear technical, programmatic, and schedule timeline for Phase II and Phase III pathways.
Moreover, Celeris will develop measurable objectives and key results in the last 30 days of the Phase I performance period to showcase how the proposed solution can cater to the needs of the DAF in future trial demonstrations. Overall, this Phase I effort will serve as the foundation for the design, development, and delivery of the Phase II prototype, with the objective of creating an automated module for the TEMP in iRIS.
