Description:

Celeris seeks an experienced and energetic Integration Engineer to directly support the modernization of the space launch ranges, meeting mission requirements, providing range capabilities, and supporting the Assured Access to Space (AATS) mission. The overarching purpose of the program is to perform system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence to enable the Spaceport of the future.

Job Responsibilities:

· Defines discrete systems with processes to link together complex systems and components with software applications to perform as a coordinated whole.

·  Has a broad range of skills and a breadth of knowledge in several Engineering/technology  disciplines including systems and enterprise architecture, software and hardware engineering, interface protocols, and general problem solving skills.

Celeris seeks a highly experienced and energetic Cyber Engineer to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions. In support of the government customer, the Program Manager, and the Chief Engineer, the Cyber Engineer is responsible for responsive and coherent planning, development and delivery of PARCS and UEWR assessment of systems and networks within the environments to identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.

Job Duties

• Build security architectures; integrate new architectural features into existing
  infrastructures; design cybersecurity architectural artifacts; provide architectural analysis of cybersecurity features and relate existing system to future needs and trends; provide engineering recommendations and resolve integration and testing issues.

• Perform assessments of RMF artifacts and identify where artifacts deviate from RMF control requirements.

• Assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle.

• Perform analyses to validate established cybersecurity controls and requirements and recommend appropriate cybersecurity safeguards.

• Establish strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and support obtaining assessment and authorization of systems. Includes support of process, analysis, coordination, control certification test, compliance documentation, as well as investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research, inspections, and periodic audits.

·         Security engineering supporting DoD/Federal cybersecurity policy (i.e., DoDI 8500.01, NIST SP 800-53, etc.).

·         STIG/SCAP compliance scanning and implementation.
