CELERIS AWARDED PRIME SBIR CONTRACT FOR IDSK AUTOMATION

ANAHEIM, CA., May 15, 2024 - Celeris has been awarded a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I Prime contract to enhance the functionality of its digital engineering platform, "iRIS," by automating the Integrated Digital Support Key (IDSK). According to DoD Instruction 5000.89, the IDSK “identifies Developmental Test (DT), Operational Test (OT), and Live Fire (LF) data requirements needed to inform critical acquisition and engineering decisions (e.g., milestone decisions, key integration points, and technical readiness decisions).” To accomplish IDSK automation, Celeris will create a robust digital thread between the DoD’s two most critical acquisition management tools that form the foundation for AF systems acquisition, the Developmental Evaluation Framework (DEF) and Operational Evaluation Framework (OEF). The absence of automation between these frameworks often results in outdated information for program decision-making and causes significant delays (often over 12 months) for $100M+ acquisitions, impacting the agile delivery of new weapon systems for the warfighter.


CELERIS AWARDED SBIR phase II PRIME CONTRACT FOR TEMP AUTOMATION

ANAHEIM, CA., February 5, 2024 - Celeris Systems, Inc. announces it has been selected by AFWERX for a SBIR Phase II contract in the amount of $1,212,555 focused on Digital Engineering to Automate the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) to Expedite Air Force Acquisitions. The Air Force Research Laboratory and AFWERX have partnered to streamline the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) process by accelerating the small business experience through faster proposal to award timelines, changing the pool of potential applicants by expanding opportunities to small business and eliminating bureaucratic overhead by continually implementing process improvement changes in contract execution. The DAF began offering the Open Topic SBIR/STTR program in 2018 which expanded the range of innovations the DAF funded and now on February 5, 2024, Celeris Systems will start its journey to automate the TEMP, with the ultimate objective of accelerating program acquisition timelines.

    Description:

    Celeris seeks an experienced and energetic Integration Engineer to directly support the modernization of the space launch ranges, meeting mission requirements, providing range capabilities, and supporting the Assured Access to Space (AATS) mission. In support of the government customer, the Program Manager, and the Chief Engineer, the Cyber Engineer is responsible for responsive and coherent planning, development and delivery of PARCS and UEWR assessment of systems and networks within the environments to identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.

    Job Duties

    • Build security architectures; integrate new architectural features into existing
      infrastructures; design cybersecurity architectural artifacts; provide architectural analysis of cybersecurity features and relate existing system to future needs and trends; provide engineering recommendations and resolve integration and testing issues.

    • Perform assessments of RMF artifacts and identify where artifacts deviate from RMF control requirements.
