MARINES ACHIEVE CERTIFICATION FOR NEXT-GENERATION GPS
ANAHEIM, CA., January 25, 2021. Celeris Systems helped the Marine Corps obtain U.S. Space Force (USSF) certification this summer for next-generation GPS technology that will make warfighters more dominant in the information warfare domain. Celeris support included the test and evaluation of the U.S. Space Force (USSF) GPS Modernization efforts to validate the Military Code (M-Code) capability with the Marine Corps Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) which led to the Air Force Program Executive Office (PEO) for Space Productions to certify the Military GPS User Equipment (MGUE) Increment 1 program’s M-Code receiver as ready for operational testing utilizing the JLTV.
Celeris Systems contributed to the development of test scenarios executed in complex, realistic RF threat environments at White Sands Missile Range to evaluate the M-Code Receiver and capability as integrated in the JLTV lead platform. Celeris Systems performed data analysis, developed test reports, and created the DoD-mandated Developmental Evaluation Framework scorecards using their innovative digital engineering solution, iRIS, to help the program obtain PEO Certification. “I’m proud of the team for their continuous involvement in deploying the next generation GPS user equipment to DoD warfighters”, says Robert Enrico, VP of Space and Missile Programs. “Celeris is continuing to find ways to efficiently test and analyze data from these tests to quickly certify GPS equipment for operational use.”
